Pathfinder Community Connections NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center and The City of Huntington are excited to announce that applications are being accepted for the second round of construction in the Communities for a Lifetime Drover Town Project.  The City of Huntington was awarded over $660,000 from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) in March of 2012.  Pathfinder Community Connections is working on behalf of the City to provide rehabilitation of owner occupied homes in Drover Town and the surrounding area.

Homeowners who live in or near the Drover Town area are encouraged to contact Pathfinder Community Connections to see if they qualify for up to $20,000 in home rehabilitation and repair as part of the Communities for a Lifetime Project.  Applications are available at or by contacting Jeff Teusch at or at 260-356-0521.  

Initial application requirements are:

  • -The house must be located in or near the historic Drover Town neighborhood in Huntington.

  • -Occupants of the house must be the legal owner; no rental properties will qualify.

  • -Homeowner must be 55 years of age or older by December 31, 2014 OR a person in the household must have a physical or developmental disability.

  • -Rehabilitation work done to the house must meet a need that is essential for day to day living. Program staff will meet with homeowners to determine the need.

  • -The house and the home owner must meet program requirements.

Industrial Wipes

Pathfinder OutSource Manufacturing is seeking donations of light to medium weight cotton and cotton blend materials to be manufactured into and sold as industrial wipes. This includes t-shirts, towels, blankets, linens, etc.


Individuals of varying abilities, including those with developmental disabilities, produce the wipes from donated materials.  The division of Pathfinder Services enables their workforce to maximize their abilities and earn an income by providing innovative fixtures, templates, machinery, proofing, skill development, and high standard quality control.

Donations can be dropped off at Pathfinder OutSource Manufacturing at 1152 East State Street or at Pathfinder Services North Campus located at 2824 Theater Ave.  Both locations are in Huntington, Indiana and a dropbox is available in the parking lot of the Theater Ave. location.  Donations may be tax deductible.
